About Yeyen

 

Yeyen Ong is a seasoned UX Researcher with over 4 years of experience in UX, research, B2B, B2C enterprise platforms, and data analytics. She specializes in employing human-centric design methodologies and utilizes a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods to drive impactful solutions that cater to both user and business needs.

With a diverse skill set including generative and evaluative research, survey design, data analysis, statistical analysis, and proficiency in tools such as Figma, AzureDevOps, Confluence, and Google Analytics, Yeyen has a proven track record of delivering successful UX projects.

Yeyen's expertise shines through her leadership on international User Experience Research initiatives for the Herbalife Corporate Nutrition Club. She conducted generative research, user interviews, and usability tests across 6 Asia-Pacific countries(Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea) shaping the user experience for the Herbalife HUB fitness tracker and application. Her collaborative work with UX Researchers, UX Designers, Product Owners, and stakeholders, as well as her management of external vendor contracts, exemplifies her ability to navigate and lead global projects successfully.

Additionally, Yeyen demonstrated her leadership and collaboration skills at Cepheid - Danaher Corporation, where she served as the first UX researcher for building Cepheid's first B2B E-Commerce Platform. She has worked closely with stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and the UX team to define the UX product strategy through mixed research methods, workshop facilitation, data analysis, research operations, and usability testing. Yeyen's contributions to developing user research plans, survey design, interview scripts, and customer/UX insights reports played a crucial role in informing stakeholders and shaping the company's business roadmap. She has also previously worked at as UX Research Consultant Best Buy Corporate, UseParagon and other local businesses in Los Angeles.

Yeyen holds a UXI Design Program certification from Thinkful Inc., a Master's degree in Global Business & Finance from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is fluent in multiple languages and continues to leverage her diverse skill set to create impactful user experiences through research, data analytics, and design.
